J & G, A Wild Scottish Highlands Wedding

Yesterday’s cheeky wee elopement sneak peeks before I get stuck into editing the full gallery, and what a bloody brilliant day it was with J & G in and around Glencoe, Scotland.

Every type of weather was thrown at us, from sunshine to wind and rain, but we managed to make the most of it, chasing the scenery and finding some cracking little spots along the way. Thanks again for letting me zoom you about the area while the Scottish weather did its usual thing!

Glencoe Elopement Photography

Glencoe is one of those places that makes photographing elopements an absolute pleasure, with its dramatic mountains, winding roads and spectacular scenery, although you certainly can’t rely on the weather behaving itself.

That’s part of the fun, really, as you never quite know what you’re going to get, and sometimes the wind, rain and dramatic skies make for photographs that are far more interesting than a perfectly sunny day.

As a Glencoe elopement photographer, I’m not interested in turning your wedding day into one big photoshoot, making you stand awkwardly in front of mountains or spending hours trying to manufacture moments that simply aren’t happening.

I prefer to photograph the two of you enjoying the day, exploring the area and making the most of whatever Scotland decides to throw at us, with a bit of direction when needed but without all the unnecessary posing and faffing about.
