Unveiling Love at Loch Farr: A Dreamy Engagement Shoot by the Waterside and in the Hills of Farr Estate.
Meagan and Jeffrey are from Canada. They planned to visit family in Inverness during the festive season. Jeffrey always dreamed of proposing in the Scottish Highlands, but he popped the question in Edinburgh instead.
We adjusted the proposal shoot plan. We began with a post-engagement shoot at Loch Farr and then moved into the hills of the Farr Estate.
This area is quiet and beautiful. It’s one of my favourite spots near Inverness.
Just ten minutes from the city, you’re surrounded by mountains, wildlife, forests, and lochs. It’s a special place right on my doorstep—if I had a really big doorstep!
I picked the couple up in Inverness for our adventure. I stopped at random spots whenever I found good light or a scene that suited them.
We began at Loch Farr and Farr Estate, then headed back to the UHI campus to capture the ‘bouncy bridge’, as Jeffrey wanted to get at least one shot there. Afterwards, we returned to their accommodation to warm up. Here’s a sneak peek into their adventure.
