Shieldaig Lodge Elopement Wedding
Scotland elopement Wedding in the North West Highlands.
Adam and Eden travelled over from Northern Ireland to Scotland for their Shieldaig Lodge elopement wedding and mini adventure.
Travelling over from Northern Ireland with Adam’s parents and their wee one in tow, Adam and Eden had fallen in love with Scotland and had found Shieldaig Lodge by chance, they then of course found me!
A tale of love, adventure, and a little sprinkle of Scottish magic. We’re diving headfirst into the whirlwind world of Adam and Eden’s epic elopement wedding at Shieldaig Lodge!
The weather on the way over was eh, wet. Like Noah and the Ark wet. But according to Apple Weather, there would be a dry spell perfectly matching the times we needed it to be. It could rain all it wanted from 5pm onwards as that was their dinner time. Not so good for me driving home to Inverness, a boat might have been easier.
Shieldaig Lodge is nestled amidst the stunning Scottish Highlands, where every corner oozes the charm and mystique of the land. It’s the kind of place where you’re pretty sure fairy tales were born, and where Adam and Eden decided to craft their own.
Perched, overlooking the loch surrounded by some of the best landscapes the Scottish Highlands has to offer. Mountains, lochs, a red beach, sheep and cows.
On the nuptials was Angela, Angela I have worked with for many years and today it transpires would be her last ever wedding as she retires. Angela it’s been a pleasure over the years, enjoy your retirement!
As they exchanged their vows, the wind chimed in with its two cents, blessing the occasion with whispers only lovers could understand. The loch in the background nodding away in approval.
What’s fantastic about elopements is that it’s all about the couple. It’s a celebration of love in its purest form, away from the fuss and frills. It’s about the two people who matter the most, Adam and Eden.
Their elopement at Shieldaig Lodge was a reminder that love, like the Scottish landscape, is wild, unpredictable, and utterly beautiful. It’s about dancing in the rain, running from hail, and sharing laughter in the snow. It’s about love, adventure, and the courage to write your own fairy tale.
So, here’s to Adam and Eden, who proved that eloping in the Scottish Highlands is the stuff of legends. May your love story continue to be as epic as your elopement! Cheers to adventure, love, and a lifetime of fantastic surprises!
